Finding the television that fits best in one’s own home is not an easy task. Samsung’s augmented reality application for Android enables users to preview their desired TV where it is supposed to be placed without it physically being there. Using everyday objects as a marker, such as credit cards or playing cards, the app digitally creates a simulation of the TV that is close to life size. By tilting the smartphone in various directions, users can examine the television from different angles. In addition, they can capture images and share them via social media and e-mail.
