Design concepts wanted - last chance to participate in Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2016

Only until 18 May 2016 design studios, companies, universities, research laboratories, inventors and students are asked to participate in the competition for design concepts. The Red Dot Award: Design Concept evaluates good design before it becomes a product and is thus an important evaluation platform for the development steps that happen before a serial production.

International and independent Red Dot jury evaluates the submitted works

The jury of the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2016 coprises 20 internationally recognised designers, professors, specialised journalists and publishers. They evaluate the submitted entries purely on design criteria. Whether by an individual, a group, a company or studio, a beginner or a veteran: all submissions from them will be presented to the experts without name, image or logo of the designers. To ensure a fair selection process, the jury members are not allowed to submit or vote for a project that they are involved in. All those who can convince the international Red Dot jury not only have their own achievements recognised by specialists, they also get to use the distinctive quality label for excellent design quality, the Red Dot.

Red Dot winners are being honoured in Singapore

Red Dot Asia president Ken Koo and Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, will hand over the sought-after awards.
