Interview with Lazy snail Design
Red Dot: What does design mean to you?
Lazy snail Design: Communicating and conveying messages through well-thought-out creative concepts. If art is all about freedom of expression, then we are definitely not only artists; we also love the problem-solving aspect of our craft.
What makes your work unique?
Our design has an equal percentage of strategy, creative thinking, and soul in it. It is not enough to just look good; all parts of the design have to be there for a reason.
Which three adjectives best describe your award-winning work?
Minimalist, geometric, organic.
Was your award-winning work inspired by current social issues?
Considering the ever-present environmental crisis, we ask ourselves for every client and project how we can find more sustainable solutions and how we can reduce the use of materials to achieve a more environmentally friendly outcome.
