Alison Park Douglas

Currently a design leader in Zurich, Alison Park Douglas has 20+ years of creative industry experience including advertising, photography, UX Product Design, business leadership, content creation, and management of creative teams.

After graduating from Harvard University with honors, Alison worked extensively in advertising and photography. Professionally, Alison started her career working with a variety of advertising agencies, consultancies, and artist studios. To diversify her skill set and dive deeper into technology, she founded a successful online e-commerce business and ran it for over a decade. After selling that business, Alison transitioned into UX Product Design which nicely integrated her interests in design and technology. Her curiosity, leadership, customer-centric mindset, and creative problem-solving skills have served her well in each of these roles.

Alison has been internationally recognized for her design work and photography with multiple awards and features in publications. PAGE, a German design magazine, and UX Planet have both written articles about Alison's UX Product Design career. Alison received a UNESCO Humanity award for her photography, and has led projects and participated in teams that have won numerous design industry awards. Giving back to the artistic community is important to Alison; she regularly volunteers as a formal mentor for the next generation of designers and students. Additionally Alison devotes a significant portion of her free time to non-profit organizations, frequently as a director or judge.
