ZDFtivi

The ZDFtivi app is an on-demand video platform for children presented by the German broadcaster ZDF. It was relaunched with a new responsive design and a strong focus on usability. The navigation is made so easy that even non-readers can use it. The app offers a number of videos for downloading which may be watched offline. Kids can sort their own playlist by tipping on the + icon on each video teaser or subscribe to a chosen programme to get additional content. In the parents’ section, different settings may be defined, such as a limit for the time the child is allowed to spend on the app. It is available for iOS, Android and Kindle Fire TV.
