XING - Public Beach Chair

Inspired by the recycling of waste ceramics, the XING – Public Beach Chair was created. These chairs are intended to be placed around public beaches in coastal cities. They give new life to ceramic waste and encourage people to reuse various industrial wastes. To repurpose industrial ceramic waste as a new material, batches of collected waste are crushed and ground several times to produce ceramic particles with a diameter of 0.2cm, essentially creating a new granulated material that can be compressed into different forms. The granulated material is not sharp or irritating to the skin, and it has a high corrosion resistance, making it an excellent choice for making colourful and artistic public chairs.
