Troy: myth and reality
The exhibition “Troy: myth and reality” at the British Museum in London, England (November 2019 to March 2020) explored the significance of the subject of Troy and its appeal across time, asking: “Why does this story endure?” A clean, crisp design brought the astonishing objects in the exhibition to life. Dramatic lighting and colour palettes were used to complement the collections, while rich background colours aimed to help multihued paintings glow within the space. The nearly 300 exhibited objects spanned three millennia, from the museum’s impressive Greco-Roman artefacts to Heinrich Julius Schliemann’s original archaeological findings.
