Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers & Authors

Music is the leitmotif of these six posters designed for the Swedish Society of Songwriters, Composers & Authors (Skap). The aim of the posters is to communicate and resonate with the society’s community of music makers. each poster shows a different illustration featuring a fictitious composition or score, which is intended to evoke associations with the notation system of the classical staff. The imaginary notes thereby form abstract and visual melodies in the rhythm of black and white. This musical rhythm of the graphic design is also found in the new Skap logo and is thus additionally emphasised. The posters were not only published in printed form, but can also be adapted as animations for social media. The posters thus also create a mesmerising effect online: Each poster projects a different movement, for example from the inside to the outside, which makes the whole graphic system vibrate and wants to appeal to the quiet, inner music of everyone, with its own pitch and sound.
