The Ruishan Coal Factory, once Taiwan’s largest mining operation, was abandoned for over 30 years and restored in 2019. Now housing the Houtong Ruishan Mining Cultural and Historical Exhibition, visitors can explore miners’ stories, historical documents, and the coal production process.
