QAED

To assist and empower instructors throughout the teaching process, QAED is an AED training device that collects and analyses participant performance and translates the results into feedback guidelines. The QAED system comprises a smart AED training device, defibrillator pads with NFC reader, stickers with NFC tag, and an app. The pads and NFC tags are attached to a training dummy, which allows data to be collected and sent to the instructor’s mobile device. The QAED Classroom app then analyses the data and translates the results into guidelines for the instructor, providing information about the most problematic tasks and students who may need extra attention. QAED enables the instructor to focus more on participant interaction, thus increasing the quality of the training while also allowing for bigger groups of participants in each class.
