Nolly, Connecting Children with Nature

Zurück Download

It is essential for children to explore and interact with trees and plants to foster sensory development and creativity. Modern society often confines children to artificial indoor environments, limiting outdoor play. NOLLY overcomes these restrictions, granting children the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature’s wonders. Through playful activities, NOLLY enhances children’s interaction with nature, allowing them to relive outdoor experiences at home. This innovative device helps develop their senses and mental well-being while enabling them to feel and absorb nature's greatness. NOLLY comprises three devices: a detachable stamp, a circular reader, and a wall beam projector. These interconnected devices create fun and educational experiences for children. During outdoor adventures, children explore various plants, saving images, scans, and information using the detachable stamp. At home, they place the stamp on the circular reader to view their discoveries. By rotating the handle, they select specific plants, and the wall beam projector recognises them, projecting graphics onto walls and floors. Using image inpainting technology, the projector retouches images based on the child’s photographs, turning them into interactive graphics. Children can touch and step on the graphics, causing them to scatter with sound effects, fully experiencing the plants they discovered earlier.
