The iXS Montevideo III Motorcycle Jacket is a protective clothing concept for motorcyclists comprising a modular design that considers individual functional requirements. Textile jackets and pants are made abrasion-resistant by leather reinforcements to fit the needs of touring enthusiasts; robust hard shell protectors protect the off-road rider; highly breathable textile fabrics allow air circulation on warmer days; waterproof membrane inner jackets guard against wet weather; and a warming inner jacket protects against cold. As a basic feature for all model variants, adjustable, CE-certified protectors are applied to the shoulders, back, elbows and knees inside the clothing on all models. Concealed safety seams and large-area reflectors provide additional protection. The design tests and CE certification include additionally chemical tests of all material components as well as the testing of impact resistance, abrasion resistance and tear strength of upper materials. Regarding technical detail solutions, ventilation systems at the front, arms, back and legs allow the individual adaptation to the climate and protect against overheating. The entire back and front textile areas can be zipped opened. Width adjusters at the collar, upper arms, arms, waist, jacket collar, trouser collar and upper and lower leg areas allow perfect, flutter-free wearing comfort. Also, a foldable waterproof balaclava connected to the collar pocket prevents water from seeping in between the motorcycle helmet and jacket collar. The iXS Montevideo III Motorcycle Jacket adapts to situational climatic conditions. In addition to the ventilation system, the adjustable inner jacket variants made in soft shell, thermal materials or microfibre can be individually used depending on the weather needs.
