Minion is a typeface designed by Robert Slimbach for Adobe Originals in 1992. The old-style serif typeface is inspired by humanistic calligraphy and has proven its worth in situations when readability matters. In order to showcase the aesthetics of Minion, it was applied to a booklet, a poster and a motion design piece. The copy used is Niccolò Machiavelli’s Renaissance treatise “The Prince”. A classic colour palette of eggshell white, true black and pops of red-orange underlines the elegance of the letters, while a harmonious page layout mirrors the balanced character of the font face.
