Hong Kong International Airport Master Plan 2030

The graphic symbol “2030 Our Airport Our Future” thematically informs this exhibition design by embracing the form of a tree. Partitioning structures resembling tree branches divide the exhibition into irregular-shaped thematic zones, while the shape of the entrance resembles both a tree trunk and a runway. To add a dose of fun and create instant association with the subject matter, the exhibition features enlarged versions of pictograms related to airport operations. Sophisticated interactive models illustrate the future development of the airport by projecting animations onto the models, such as planes taking off and landing on a third runway.
