In recent years, traditional product design has shifted away from the sensory and experiential aspects of human interaction, relying more and more on touch displays, voice assistants, and smart home technologies. While these advancements have increased convenience and efficiency in everyone's daily lives, they have also resulted in fewer physical and tangible interactions with products.
Recognising this trend, the designers have explored new ways to incorporate more tangible experiences into product interactions. The result is the design project From(). The designers hope to rekindle users’ natural instincts for physical interaction by incorporating physical sensations and actions into product design, while also creating more memorable experiences for users. In this way, From() showcases products that are both familiar and innovative.
