Dot Translate
285 million blind and visually impaired people worldwide have limited access to information: only 3 per cent of all text content is available in braille. Translation is so complex that it requires input by human experts, which makes it inaccessible for individuals and not profitable for publishers. Dot Translate is a braille translator based on AI. It can translate any digital text to braille on its own because it is being trained by millions of accurate human translations. This innovation is the foundation for Dot Mini, a smart media device for the visually impaired.
