This poster campaign by the NGO “Jugend gegen AIDS” (Youth against AIDS) aims to make young people aware of the importance of safe sex and to remind them about the use of condoms. Six motifs were created, showing a knot adopting a phallic shape, which much like a knot in a handkerchief serves as a reminder. The attention-grabbing illustration style is targeted at young adults and is mixed with existing elements of the visual identity. As a result, the campaign was able to successfully convey the seriousness of the topic through an implementation that is both specific to the target group and playful.
