25 Years of Nexon Online Game
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Nexon online games in Korea, this fusion exhibition shows the games’ past, present and future. It offers a new interpretation of online games by artistically visualising technology. The concept of space is derived from the meaning of the slash ( / ) symbol, as used in chat window commands, one of the main features of online games. The exhibition is structured around the element of “interaction”, characteristic of video games, and thus invites users to experience the show as if actually playing a video game. Inside the exhibition space, visitors can enjoy the content installed on both sides of walls shaped like slashes. A look from the entrance into the exhibition hall reveals eleven exhibits that are virtual reproductions of online games.
