TANSEISHA is an interior design studio that conceptualises retail and hospitality spaces, as well as cultural realms, including museums, exhibitions, event venues and more. Established in 1946, the studio supports the entire planning and creative process – from research and planning to design, construction and operation.

Rikuzentakata City Museum

Das Große Ostjapanische Erdbeben zerstörte diese Einrichtung und verwüstete ihre Bestände. Einige von ihnen wurden mithilfe von mehr als 70 Museen aus ganz Japan gerettet und restauriert und werden nun als Teil eines „lebendigen Museums“ präsentiert. Die Muschel als Schlüsselsymbol des Ortes findet sich in Form einer muschelförmigen Spirale im Ausstellungsraum wieder.
