Payment failed

Your product has not been entered in the competition.

There are several possible reasons for this. Generally, it’s because payment of the entry fee has failed. Here is some information on why this may have occurred. Please check these points carefully:

Problems with your credit card

  • 3D Secure authentication has not been activated

    Please contact your bank or credit card provider or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • You made too many payments

    In the case of multiple entries: some banks use an automated protective mechanism if an identical amount is deducted several times online within a short time frame. Please contact your bank or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Transaction limit has been reached

    Your daily/weekly/monthly limit or transaction limit has been met or exceeded. Please try again later or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Account is not funded

    There are insufficient funds on the account or the balance on a pre-paid account is insufficient. Please contact your bank or credit card provider or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Credit card has been blocked

    Please contact your bank or credit card provider or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Credit card has expired

    The credit card has expired or is no longer valid. Please use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Credit card has not been activated

    Your credit card is new and has not been activated yet. Please contact your bank or credit card provider or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Credit card is not approved for international payments

    Your credit card has not been approved for international payments. Please contact your bank or credit card provider or use a different credit card or payment method.

  • Technical problems of the provider

    The bank, credit card provider or enquirer is having technical issues. Please contact your bank or credit card provider or use a different credit card or payment method.

Technical issues


  • Your browser is outdated

    The browser you are using to register is out of date or not compatible. Please update your browser or use a different browser.


  • Pop-ups are being blocked
    You have activated the pop-up blocker. Please change your browser settings and deactivate the pop-up blocker.


  • Session has expired

    The session in the My Red Dot portal has expired. Please try again.


  • Firewall is blocking the transaction

    Your firewall is blocking the transaction site. Please contact your IT department.


  • Internet connection interrupted
    Connectivity issues during the payment transaction occured. Please contact your IT department.

General notes

Please note that registration has only been successfully completed if you receive an e-mail with the entry confirmation and another e-mail with the invoice to the e-mail address provided for the entrant. Please also check your Spam folder.
