Yoru

Visually appealing table lighting is just as much in demand in outdoor gastronomy as it is for private individuals. Yoru is a portable table lamp with a light cone designed to illuminate a table evenly and over a large area. The lamp features a minimalist appearance and a clear, geometric language of form with a strikingly flat lampshade. This design is made possible by particularly flat, innovative light sources. The cylindrical base is comfortable to grasp with one hand, making it easier to transport the lamp, which weighs only 460 grams. The brightness of the light can be regulated in three steps via a control button integrated flush into the base. One battery charge enables an operating time of at least five hours at maximum intensity, about 10 hours at medium brightness and up to 50 hours in ambient light mode. The concealed light source provides glare-free lighting that is perceived as pleasantly warm white in all three modes. The weatherproof lamp body made of powder-coated aluminium has a haptically appealing structure and is optionally available in matt white or matt black. The designers were inspired by nature and modelled the flat lampshade on a highly abstracted water lily leaf.
