For shipping fire pits, Warmbond uses large cardboard boxes that are extremely stable and have a high load-bearing capacity. The illustrations are designed to not only provide information, but also promote an emotional connection to the brand as soon as the product is received. To encourage the cartons’ reuse, they were perforated to create a viewing window, making them practical as containers for storing logs. “This packaging was not designed as a disposable product, but for long-term use,” explained the jury. “The environmentally friendly material is impressive, as are the carrying loops and graphic design.”
