Feel, the metatheme of the 2017 annual report, is presented in a variety of ways: with humour, sensitivity and emotion. This is equally true of its contents, design and formats – both print and dig-ital. The print report takes the form of a premium-quality book and represents the tangible counterpart to the online report now being published for the first time. Showing a selection of examples from the full spectrum of human emotions, the lenticular print cover conveys the exploratory character of the report. Vorwerk avoids taking itself too seriously and focuses, in addition to editorial stories, on playful design elements. What the print report achieves with haptics and design, the online report translates into innovative, audiovisual features.
