UPRIGHT POSITION is a branding project that seeks to encourage people to sit upright in everyday life. In a manual and an app, the drawn figure of a Taoist priest demonstrates how to improve sitting postures. Zombie-like figures, in contrast, visualise bad habits, such as sitting in the same position for a long time, crossing one’s legs or slouching. The concept takes an approach that is both entertaining and hands-on, as users fight the zombies with the help of stretching exercises and tracking functions. In addition, invisible ink effects on posters highlight the consequences caused by poor posture within the body.
