Malnutrition Detector

Trunky & Monkey

返回 Download

The Trunky & Monkey upper-arm measuring strips help detect malnutrition in young children in underserved areas. The circumference is measured by placing either the elephant’s trunk or the monkey’s tongue around the upper arm and then joining it to the animal’s head. Since the measuring tapes are very inexpensive to produce, they can be given to the children to play with after the examination.

This child-oriented product also enables non-professional health workers to examine small patients in a playful way without scaring them.
