Three Rooms and Two Halls

返回 Download

These posters provide the images for the book “Three Rooms and Two Halls” by Chinese poet Han Bo. The title describes the idea of the ideal living environment many contemporaries in China have, but also the boundaries of their view of the world. These boundaries are reflected in the motif: a man squats all alone at the centre of the image. He is naked and covered only in white paint. His gaze is directed downward into empty space. The writing on his cheek creates a direct link to the book, showing the title and the author’s name in black letters.
