This cover illustration spells out the difficulties encountered by students to find a job after graduation. Taking the idiom “jump into the deep end” literally, the illustration shows a line of graduates waiting to jump into a pool, respectively their career field. The world of employment is represented by dark-suited figures in the pool. Their sharp, angled heads make the jump look even more difficult. Through simplified forms and a thoroughly conceived composition, the issue is presented in a concise manner.
