The Illustrated Man

“The Illustrated Man” is a collection of short stories by Ray Bradbury. Bradbury’s tales are considered a milestone in science fiction, as they emotively depict the fate of those who are slaves to technology. These illustrations focus on three stories considered emblematic of the work as a whole. The underlying psychology of the characters is highlighted by effective use of positive and negative space. In addition, a minimal colour palette and a strong sense of light and shadow contribute to conveying the poetic atmosphere of the stories.
