Ja! (Yes!) is the in-house brand of the German supermarket chain REWE. Alluding to the fact that the brand makes products available at a lower price in relation to similar items by cutting corners on marketing, packaging design, etc., this spot is based on an unusual challenge: to create an ad conveying a luxurious appeal with almost no budget. In an original and funny manner, it is set on a yacht, in a spa and in a sports car – all made available for free, after covincing those responsible in a charming way. The repeated question “Can I afford it?” is answered by staging the brand’s products.
