SmallRig Lightweight Multifunction Matte Box Series

The matte boxes of the SmallRig Lightweight Multifunction Matte Box Series are mounted on a camera lens using one of the four adapter rings that come with the unit. A magnetically attached, adjustable flag made of carbon fibre serves as protection against contrast-reducing stray light. A round filter frame with M0.8 gear allows motorised rotation of the supplied polarising filter and a variable ND filter with follow focus. Rectangular filters can be inserted by the user into a sturdy 4×5.65 filter frame, into which hidden buffers are integrated to protect the filters from impact. The jury liked the versatility of the modular system, whose parts can be quickly replaced and securely locked in place thanks to the magnetic attachment system.
