This decorative packaging comprises a combination of physical and virtual features to entertain newly-weds. The key visual on the gift box is a magpie, a traditional Chinese symbol of happiness. In addition to rice specialities and a special smartphone holder, the set also contains a small box with a see-through screen. After scanning a QR code and placing the device on a smartphone, users can watch a romantic video clip in the box. Through unpacking and discovering, the set offers a nuanced and sensual experience which can be shared with each other in a playful manner.
