Shit Kids Say – Uninhibited Brilliance

“Shit Kids Say” reports the amusing and enlightening answers to questions about life from children up to ten years old. It is a book about children for adults, accompanied by illustrations. The book is an open format. It has neither page numbers nor a table of contents. Each page credits the child’s name and age. The title mimics the large letter forms of a child’s writing. This child-like writing and aesthetic and not-so-childlike title creates the humour which makes up the content of the book. Classic stick-figures collaged with photos emphasise the exaggerated nature of children’s responses.
