Seabiscuit vs. War Admiral
The book “Seabiscuit vs. War Admiral” tells the story of what many consider to be one of the greatest horse races ever, which took place in Baltimore in 1938. The design focuses on the duel between these two exceptional horses. The opposing stables’ jerseys represent the two horses and guide the reader through the whole book. Full-page illustrations provide a direct comparison of details such as, for example, performance and prize money. The text layout is inspired by the newspaper design from that time period featuring large expressive headlines and black-and-white photography.
