The interior panelling of the GESA sauna was inspired by the manufacturing process used for Japanese Yakisugi wood. First, it is charred, then extinguished with cold water – a process reminiscent of the sauna session itself. The material and finish of the sauna thus bear a herringbone pattern. Black accents create eye-catching contrasts. A generous glass front as well as the minimalist shape of the sauna give it an inviting character.
