In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, elevator buttons have become a high- risk medium of virus transmission. Some elevators use plastic wrap that needs to be changed frequently, but the labour cost can be high. Rotary Disinfection Film For Elevator Keys employs a crawler-type rotating polycarbonate film that rotates the ‘used’ film inwards every three minutes for disinfection. This ensures that the film is regularly recycled with a disinfected surface, allowing users to confidently press the keys. Inside the device, the ‘used’ film is wiped down with an alcohol sponge and fully disinfected by two ultraviolet lamp plates. The protective film can be continuously recycled for about three months. The goal is to create a more sanitary and environmentally friendly public environment in order to combat the COVID-19 epidemic.
