Reminiscence of Flowers

With the concept of bringing different sensory experiences to an audience, the design of this device aims to document “Taiwan’s flowers, fragrance and memory”. Three kinds of flowers were selected by the Taiwanese people themselves as being the most representative of Taiwan. In addition, people’s memories and stories about the flowers were also collected. The overall device is a 245 × 180 cm darkroom, three walls of which feature interactive paper sculpture devices on the theme of plum blossoms, magnolias and Phalaenopsis, allowing users to freely experience three kinds of interactions.
