Exhibition Design
RE: ECM
With “Feel the reverberation of sound” as its motto, this exhibition was conceived as a platform inspired by a table-tennis table. It invited visitors to sit face to face, with a thin cloth between them. Alternating lights illuminated the audience whenever the music changed. The audience had the option of participating as quiet listeners or as actors on stage in the light. They could experience continuous sound, either by listening to music while staying in the space or by creating an imaginary conversation between musicians inside the specific space. Thus, visitors could gain a new artistic experience through the act of creation.
