One After Another is a short film that tells the story of a grandfather-and-grandson relationship through the act of folding an origami boat. Looking at the lapping ocean waves, the scene becomes a crease in the paper that transports Levi into a memory. Levi remembers his grandfather folding origami boats for him as a child on their way home in a boat. He decides to make a paper boat just as his grandfather had taught him. As he folds the paper, he notices that the creases have overlapped and gathered in the center, just as all rivers eventually flow into the sea. He appears to be gradually grasping his grandfather’s philosophy. Red Dot Award: Design Concept | Concept | Visual Communication
