To help people in today’s society reach their daily recommended nutritional intake, NUCOO is designed to help people create nutritious meals conveniently. It is also tailored to the rising trend of consuming multigrain rice for health reasons. However, cooking mixed grains can be inconvenient as it requires multiple steps of washing and mixing the grains prior to cooking. To add to the complication, the different grains must be kept separately and they have different lifespans on the shelf. NUCOO therefore helps users cook multigrain rice via a convenient capsule input system. The grain capsules can be produced in various nutrient types and flavours, all contained in a mixture of grain powder and liquid. Simply choose the desired taste and nutrients profile and insert it into the slot at the back of the rice cooker. With the capsule inserted, NUCOO ‘sprays’ the capsule’s contents onto the rice that is cooking in the inner pot. With these capsules, anyone can enjoy fully nutritious meals that suits their taste. NUCOO also collects user data and syncs it with the phone application.
