NOA Hotel

In Xiamen, the NOA Hotel is known as a trending location for young people to gather. Its unconventional brand design is based on the idea of “rebuilding from ruin”. The length and breadth of the burnt gauze represent a steel skeleton in ruins. The design approach was implemented using various materials, such as PVC, Tyvek, acrylic, paper and silk fibre. Moreover, a new type of composite material was created featuring edges torn off to resemble the process of reconstruction. In addition to the brand stationery, the interior of the rooms and the hotel’s textiles also convey an original handmade look.
