The NIKKOR Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S is a super-telephoto prime lens with a built-in 1.4x teleconverter. The powerful lens sits on a large-diameter mount. The shape and position of the teleconverter switch and other controls are optimised so that they can be operated using the right hand while looking through the viewfinder. A yellow ring around the edge of the lens and a three-dimensional, metallic nameplate identify the lens as part of the manufacturer’s new super-telephoto series.
