The small tower building rises from the steep hillside at the edge of a wooded ravine beneath the wooden home of the local Catholic Community of Sisters. Both striking and modest in appearance, it emerges out of a small dip next to a narrow path on the fringes of the forest. The only alteration made to the hillside is the access route. The terrain has otherwise been left unchanged.

This tower-shaped mountain cabin is strikingly, but discreetly bedded in the landscape. The modest, distinctive design creates a feeling of familiarity and difference at the same time.
