The Mitte Home water maker is inspired by nature in the way it works. The input tap water flows through a cartridge where it gets filtered in two steps and absorbs valuable minerals. Water can be prepared by the device to be still, gentle or strongly sparkling at the touch of a button. “As a user, you can choose between four different mineralisation options. A single cartridge replaces up to 300 one-litre disposable bottles of water. The reduced formal language with clear lines does without superfluous ornamentation, and every component is functional and essential,” the jury said, explaining its decision.
