The Metro C2 displays numerous new design features that enhance attractiveness and transparency for metro riders. These include circular lighting elements in the entrance areas and ceiling-high glass elements between the passenger compartment and the driver’s cab. Vertical bands of LED light at the door edges alert passengers through changing colours to the opening and shutting doors. Modern passenger information systems have been integrated as well.
