The MATE SUV electric-assist cargo bike was designed as an alternative to a car. Thanks to the all-weather roof, various interior boxes and foldable “MATE Wing” for effortless access, the bike can be adapted to a variety of needs and situations. With a volume of 210 litres, the possibilities are numerous, and an adjustable harness system allows for the transport of two children, one adult or four dogs. The shock-absorbing box keeps the passengers safe, even on rough surfaces. In addition to the rear and front lights, an LED light bar can provide increased visibility or illumination for picnics and parties. The jury described the MATE SUV as “an eye-catcher and everyday companion whose design is well thought out down to the last detail”.
