Lockin V5 is the first automatic, intelligent lock with palm vein and simultaneous facial recognition, camera monitoring and real-time screen display. Recognition takes place within 0.75 seconds and works for visitors aged four and older. The aluminium plate of the recognition module, which is only 16 mm thick, appears inconspicuous, a mute lock muffles door opening and closing noises, and the 160-degree super-wide-angle lens transmits the outside view in real time either to the system monitor in the home or to a mobile phone. The jury liked the “surprisingly discreet appearance considering the range of functions” of the modular lock.
