Jiangnan Context

This series of posters pays homage to the beauty and diversity of the scenery in the Jiangnan region in China. The ink drawings show motifs from the Jiangnan gardens. Typical plants such as bamboo and the plum blossom as well as the formations of the well-known Taihu Lake stone make up the logo of the region, turning them into ambassadors for Jiangnan. The geometrically shaped frames around the motifs are a well-executed detail which act like a window through which the visitor can catch a glimpse of the gardens in Jiangnan.
