Exhibition Design
Jewish Museum Frankfurt am Main
The permanent exhibition in the Rothschild-Palais of the Jewish Museum in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, was reopened in October 2020. The design of the exhibition harmonises sensitively with the historic building as well as the modern extension and presents the exhibits in a nuanced way. Under the motto “We are now”, history is related through stories which are classified both chronologically and thematically. They can thus be explored individually or in a defined order. A wide spectrum of different explanatory options is on offer and much attention is paid to barrier-free access and the participation of children.
