Im Chair

Im Chair is inspired by the concept of ‘im’, which means “meeting for the first time”. It is designed with detachable, interchangeable cushion backrests, and provides a convenient and comfortable cushion solution by allowing the backrest type to adapt to changing temperatures of different seasons. For example, the backrest will provide warmth in the winter and cool in the summer. The choice of natural ash wood material and ergonomic design with rounded corners produces a friendly and harmonious feel in Im Chair. The bronze aluminium fastener feature allows the cushions to be easily fastened to the chair and adds to the beautiful, minimalist design. The cushion is made of a customised sponge and aluminium-plated during the moulding process.
