Herbs and Bees

This packaging design for six herbal teas, in two types of packaging, boxes and tubes, reflects the regions in Russia where the ingredients come from. A complex but easily recognisable visual system combining fairy-tale illustrations, hand-drawn typography and stripes provides a convincing solution. Magical animal characters invite the consumer to taste the teas collected in various regions of Russia. Coloured stripes and elements differentiate the flavours, and the floral aspects hint at honey, which is both an ingredient in the teas and the primary product of the manufacturer.
